“Our Town” is a three-act play by Thornton Wilder that explores life, love, and death in the fictional town of Grover’s Corners, New Hampshire. The play is narrated by the Stage Manager, who welcomes the audience to the town early on a May morning in 1901. The opening scene is set in the homes of the Gibbs and Webb families, and the play follows the lives of the two families and their neighbours over the course of twelve years. The play is known for its minimalist set and use of pantomime to represent everyday activities. It has been performed widely since its debut in 1938 and is considered a classic of American theatre.

A truly outstanding performance of a deeply involving play that challenges the audience to embrace the human predicament.
