The local charity Shop

Viva opened its first charity shop in 2006 in a former Methodist Chapel on Churchgate Street in the heart of Soham. In 2019 Viva moved to a bigger retail space across the road at 14 Churchgate Street where the accompanying courtyard provides a friendly café and meeting place. The shop continues to support Viva activities and the wider community.

The shop sells a broad range of excellent quality but reasonably priced used and new men’s, women’s and children’s clothes, shoes and accessories; toys and baby equipment; books for all ages and homeware. We also have a designer rail for the real fashionistas!

The shop is almost exclusively manned by a fantastic team of more than 30 volunteers and 100% of the shop’s profits are used to fund the work of Viva Arts and Community Group in Soham and the surrounding area.

The Viva Shop is one of the few locally-based charity shops in East Cambridgeshire. This means your donations will help fund arts and community projects in this region.

Come and visit

The shop is always grateful of donations of new or used clothing, toys, bric-a-brac and kitchenalia. Donations are limited to two bags/boxes per person and only dropped off within our opening times. Please call us if you are unsure if we will take your items.
