Room Hire
The Viva Theatre is not just a theatre!
We have two hireable spaces: The Daniel Schumann Auditorium (ground floor) and The Loft (second floor). The building has Wi-Fi available throughout and is fully accessible (lift access to upper floors).
The Daniel Schumann Auditorium
The Theatre comprises of a main foyer, access WC, 80 seat retractable seating rake and a stage area with a performance space of around 6x6m. The Daniel Schumann Auditorium is 10.1m in length, 6.1m wide and with a floor-to-ceiling height of 6.1m (between joists).
Our versatile backstage Green Rooms can be partitioned to create smaller dressing rooms or opened out and used as a catering facility.

- Fully retractable tiered seating structure seating 64 (16 chairs can be added to front of structure to accommodate seating for 80)

The Loft
The Loft is 10.1 in length x 6.1 width. The height from floor to ceiling starts at 2.1m (eaves at side of room) and extends up to 4.5m (ridge at centre of room). This multi-purpose room can be used for meetings, conferences, training and much more.

- The space has an adjoining kitchenette
- 75” Panasonic display wall mounted screen capable of local HDMI input, downstairs show relay image, rolling preloaded images or presentations
- Our optional boardroom table can seat around 20 people
