Martial Flow is the fusion of Shaolin Kung Fu, contemporary movement and Krump.
It is a form of self-expression and can be applied to dance practices to create a broader vocabulary of movement and gain a greater understanding of the body and flow.
Ash Goosey is a professional dancer, composer, actor and movement artist with a First Class MA Distinction in Dance Performance and Choreography. He has performed extensively with Hip Hop theatre company Spoken Movement.
In 2017 he went on to co-found E14 Dance Company. Ash travelled to China and trained under Master Shi Yan Jia, 34th generation Shaolin disciple of the current Shaolin Temple Abbot Shi Yongxin. He has fine-tuned his practice and has created a style and methodology known as Martial Flow which he teached across the country to professional companies and students.
Session fundamentals include power-training, endurance and stamina. Technical based Shaolin foundations training, Kung Fu fist forms, grappling, full contact weight locomotion and play fight.
