IT IS TOTALLY FREE TO BECOME A MEMBER OF VIVA AND VOLUNTEER WITH US OR TAKE PART IN OUR REGULAR COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES. HOWEVER IF YOU ONLY WISH TO JOIN VIVA YOUTH THEATRE OR VIVA THEATRE COMPANY MEMBERSHIP FEES DO APPLY. DETAILS OF JOINING FEES FOR THESE TWO GROUPS CAN BE FOUND ON THIS WEBSITE.
REMEMBER VIVA IS NOT JUST ABOUT THE ARTS - WE ARE A COMMUNITY ORGANISATION WITH MANY PROJECTS AND OPPORTUNITIES. JUST GIVE US A CALL!
- Take to the stage: Audition for one of our next productions with one of our two groups: Viva Youth Theatre or Viva Theatre Company. Or visit our Current Events section for news of what we have coming up.
- Get creative: If you can build sets, make props or costumes, work lights or sound or just want to help out back stage, let Viva know! Viva welcomes new talent.
- Community Projects: Get involved as a volunteer in one of our many and varied community projects. Just pop into The Viva Centre or phone or email us for more details.
- Heritage Work: If you are interested in local history or heritage please let us know. We run a variety of exciting heritage projects.
- Join the Board: The Viva Trustees manage the charity. They are all people who live locally and play an active part in Viva. All trustees are elected annually and anyone involved in Viva who is interested in helping to run the charity can be nominated to join the board. Please call the Viva office for details - we would love to hear from you.
- Volunteer: Maybe you’ve got time to spare and want to meet new people. If so, why not volunteer in the shop, join our team backstage or front of house. Viva is constantly working hard to raise the vital funds to ensure the continuation of what we do in the local community and are always looking for new volunteers to join our fundraising committee. There truly is something for everyone.
- Dig deep: Please donate. Be it clothes, toys, household goods, Viva welcomes it all. See the section on Donations or details. Or if you wish to make a financial contribution to Viva please call the office on 01353 722 228.
- Donate: Check out our Localgiving page and find out how your donations can go a long way in supporting Viva.
- Make friends: Become a Friend of Viva and support its work while also receiving benefits. Find out more.
