Don't tell him Pike!
Another show has come and gone and what a show it was! Well done to the cast and crew of Dad's Army for a fantastic show week with three sell-out performances and a very warm matinee. Well done troops!! Comments from the audience... 'I was blown away by this last night! Wonderful performances all round but I really had to keep reminding myself they weren't the original Mainwaring, Wilson and Frazer. Loved the Morris dancing!' 'Well done everyone, a fantastic show. Great performances and singalong songs. I really enjoyed it' 'Once again Viva has produced a wonderful show. It is great to see the community coming together for such a jolly afternoon of pure fun and laughter. Well done to all involved!' Read our reviews below. ![]()

NODA Gala Awards
Viva had a fantastic day at the NODA Gala Awards. A huge congratulations to everyone from NODA East and thank you for having us. We are super excited to announce that Educating Rita won not one but two awards: Best Play and Best Production! Well done to everyone involved and for our other shows who were nominated including Evita and The Little Mermaid from 2016. A huge well done is also due to our Viva member Joseph Beach who was presented with the NODA District 4S Young Performer of the Year Award. This was for his fantastic performance in Viva's production of Evita performed in 2016 as Magaldi as well as performing with Newmarket Kings Theatre in Dream Nights over the summer. Joseph continues to be involved in both groups and will be joining Viva at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August with The Dreaming. With so many fantastic performing arts groups across the area Viva is so proud to be part of it all. Go team Viva! Cocktails at the ready!
Another show has now come and gone. A huge congratulations to the fabulous cast and crew of Shakers who hit the ground running on Thursday to have three smash performances. The audience were treated to a selection of characters all performed by our Shaker girls from Essex girls, to the lads on a night on the town to the couples deciding what to order. Well done ladies! See below for our two reviews plus a selection of photos from the show. For the final time TING! ![]()

Happy Birthday Viva!
Viva celebrated its 20th anniversary in style by holding a fundraising ball in March. Thank you to everyone who came along from Viva members, friends, family and the general public. The Brook was packed out and we had everyone on their feet dancing the night away! We are so pleased to announce *drum roll please* that in total we raised £7146.49! This total will go towards future Viva shows to help with the overall running costs from set, costumes, tech, lighting, venue hire and the list goes on. Viva is a charity and we are now performing up to seven shows a year for all ages so events such as this are vital to our continued success. Happy Birthday Viva and here is to another twenty years!
