Auditions- The Vicar of Dibley
Fancy auditioning for a part in Viva Theatre Group's production of The Vicar Of Dibley? ...If your answer to this is no no no no no YES, read on!
Auditions are being held at The Performing Arts Centre, Soham
on Tuesday 12th December at 7.30pm-9.30pm and
Sunday 17th December at 12.00pm-2.00pm
*You only need to attend one audition, just pick the date that is best for you!
Please prepare the audition extract for the character you would like to play. If there is more than one extract for that character please prepare them all. If you would like to be in the ensemble, there is an ensemble extract below too!
Vicar of Dibley (Geraldine), female 35-45, larger than life, fun-loving, kind-hearted
Alice Tinker, female 20-30, the verger, dippy and sweet
David Horton, male 50-65, pompous, self-opiniated chairman of the parish council
Hugo Horton, his son, male 20-35, shy, overshadowed by father
Owen Newitt, male 50-70, scruffy, bearded 'down to earth' farmer on parish council
Jim Trott, male 50-75, ditherer, also on parish council
Frank Pickle, male 50-70, secretary of parish council, pedantic and boring
Letitia Cropley, female 60-70, slightly dotty cook, on parish council, does church flowers and plays organ
assorted ensemble characters as wedding guests and possibly other small roles.
